Sugarcane Decaf Process
This coffee is decaffeinated using the Sugarcane EA process, a method that uses ethyl acetate, a naturally occurring compound derived from sugarcane.  
 
The green coffee is first gently steamed to open the pores of the bean. Then, it’s washed with ethyl acetate, which binds to the caffeine and draws it out. Once the caffeine is removed, the beans are steamed again to eliminate any remaining traces of the compound.  
 
The result is a clean, sweet cup with full flavor, just without the caffeine.
